Work includes interaction with customers.
Job description
• Capacity planning, pro-active maintenance, system admin and products.
• Install/Upgrade Teoco’s products
• Install/Upgrade 3rd party products
• Realize preventative and corrective actions related to routine on-site operations and
maintenance activities.
• Regularly analyze system load and utilization.
• Provide initial response and investigation of faults.
• Discriminate between problems directly related to deliverables provided by TEOCO,
and problems due to hardware or integration with EMSs/NMSs.)
• Communicate unsolved problems related to source codes, system design and
manufacturing, to Level 3/4 Support.(R&D)
• On-the- Job training & other methods (User Forums, etc.) to improve user satisfaction
and improved usage.
• Test and deploy the corrective maintenance and upgrades.
• Provide DBA services.
• System and Products Backup responsibility
• Support and system troubleshooting
Professional Experience and Personal Requirements¬
• Deep knowledge with an UNIX and Windows operating systems. Particularly
commands, installation and working remotely.
• Deep knowledge with UNIX scripts (like sh, ksh)
• Familiar with Unix cluster (Sun Cluster, VERITAS cluster - an advantage )
• Familiar with SQL & SQL scripts (Oracle and\or Sybase – an advantage)
• Familiar with Web application server (WebLogic – an advantage)
• Gathers and analyzes information skillfully
• Availability to develop alternative solutions.
• Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to train and provide functional guidance to user personnel
• More the 3 years relevant experience
• Good English - must
• Other languages – advantage
